Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Stylist Tara Swennen has dressed everyone from Kate Beckinsale to Mila Kunis to Sarah Michelle, worked on ad campaigns for clients like Got Milk?, Canon, Linea Pelle and PETA and has pitched in on editorials for InStyle, Nylon, Teen Vogue, and British Esquire. Here, she tells us why Broken English is her favorite spot to shop for accessories.
"I love Broken English because Laura, the owner, has the most unique and exquisite taste in jewelry. One of my favorite things is her case of handpicked antique charms. It is the perfect place to find everything from modern and funky to hopelessly beautiful and dainty pieces. The selection is incredible and it also sits in the wonderful Brentwood Country Mart, which is such a fun and tranquil shopping spot to leisurely cruise through on a warm Los Angeles day. Finish with a bite at A Votre Sante for a perfect afternoon!"
