Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Stephanie Stone is a nail stylist at Nailing Hollywood with celebrity clients such like Miley Cyrus and Lea Michele. When she's not adorning manis with bold patterns, designs and colors, she feeds her sartorial appetite at SIXHundred LA, a spot in downtown that currently stocks a few items on her holiday wish list.
"SIXHundred LA is located on 6th and Spring. Their vibe is very underground and eclectic with lots of independent and up-and-coming designers, as well as hand-picked vintage pieces. The boutique carries a range of styles—from rocker to chic—for both men and women. I found out about this spot by word of mouth and I ended up connecting with the owners on Twitter as well. It's located next to a charming little hole in the wall coffee shop that you can sit and do computer work at after a bit of shopping. During my next trip there I plan on picking up their Melting plaid crop top as well as an amazing cut-out back hoodie I've been eyeing."
