Bonjour, Coco Laurent

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Although the 7,000-square-foot 7th and Grand space that was covered in Guess ads this past summer will not turn into DTLA's first Guess store, it is turning into a French bistro with a rather fashionable name. Brigham Yen reveals that Coco Laurent (a Coco Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent salute?) is set to soft open on November 12 and features "handmade chandeliers flown in from France." The new eatery and bar will offer brunch, late-night dining, desserts, coffee, tea, wine and inventive cocktails. Sign us up. [BY; Previously]
