Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Ali Froley started in fashion PR in NYC in mid-nineties at brands like Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren and Betsey Johnson. In 2003, she moved to LA and opened the West Coast office of BPCM, a global fashion and luxury goods agency, where she is now a partner. Her office runs celebrity programs for brands including Lanvin, Brian Atwood, Current/Elliott, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, and Jenni Kayne. Froley filled us in on where goes for plants and flowers Culver City.
"I love going to Rolling Greens for really unique and natural gifts and also for my own floral and décor needs. What started as a nursery in Culver City now has a Hollywood location and has expanded into an emporium of gorgeous plants, flowers and specialty gifts. Their 'Arrangement Bar' offers the most amazing and original plant and floral arrangements. My favorite items are their gorgeous terrariums—you can get one pre-made or bring in your own vase and they will make a one custom. Every item in the gift store feels artisanal and special. They have everything from wonderful cookbooks to vintage pottery, modern vases, Turkish towels and even great natural kids toys. I buy all my succulents here, and it's my go-to spot for great gifts like mini olive trees and potted plants."
