Racked associate editor Natalie Alcala is at the Cooper Building for a morning of back-to-back sample sales. Here's her report from A.L.C.
9:20am: "There are plenty of shoppers already lined up. The first group got here at 8:30am. I asked them if they're looking for anything in particular. Response: 'Everything and anything.'"
9:25am: "The only guy in line also has the coolest bag: Givenchy. He said that he named it 'Max.'"
9:30am: "I just got a peek inside. Tons of sweaters. A glimpse of pricing! Looks like heavy knits are priced at $100."
9:37am: "One shopper's non-English-speaking mom is here people watching. She looks fascinated by the frenzy."
9:45am: "The line's growing. People are most excited to score leather and sweaters. Seeing tons of Pressed Juicery bottles since they now have a stand inside the Cooper Building."
9:55am: "I'm in! Leathers are $600, marked down from $1,795."
