GenArt has announced the lineup for its annual Fresh Faces in Fashion LAFW show, set for October 17th. The three up-and-coming labels that will take over the runway are buzzed-about Cali brand Crybaby Presents, the vintage-inspired designs of Shaina Mote and fellow newbie Korovilas.
Last year's GenArt roster featured a whopping seven labels, some—like Funktional, We Are Handsome and Dear Creatures—whose profiles have risen considerably since. The chance to see under-the-radar talent is the main draw of GenArt, and the organization likes to tout its famous alums, a roster that includes Rodarte, Geren Ford, Raquel Allegra and Vena Cava. If you really need to be there, they are selling tickets.
