Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is spearheading a new initiative designed to draw attention to Los Angeles' growing fashion industry. Named Designed/Made in Los Angeles, it will highlight items designed and manufactured in Los Angeles (duh) with a special logo that will appear on hang tags and/or product labels.
American Apparel, FIDM and more have submitted designs for the logo, and the mayor's office is asking the general public to select their favorite via an online poll. Click here to check out the options—21 in total—and to cast your vote. The poll closes at 5pm October 12th.
