Tarina Tarantino Reimagines Sparkle Factory as LA Designer Hub

At a recent party for the new Judith Bright boutique on La Brea, California Apparel News reporter Andrew Asch cornered jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino and got an update on the status of her DTLA Sparkle Factory. The store is now scheduled to open next summer and, in a slight change of plans, will sell goods from a variety of LA designers as well as Tarantino's colorful wares.

Nearby, soon-to-be neighbor The Ace Hotel has a tentative opening date of fall 2013. "Broadway is about to explode," said Tarantino.
