Bicycle taxis will soon be a thing in Santa Monica. Also known as pedicabs, SaMo Patch reveals that this human-powered mode of transportation operates "in 45 major U.S. cities and in dozens of others overseas." Once the city figures out how to manage and regulate the system, approx. 20 pedicabs will be given the green light to hit the streets, "likely in commercial districts, such as downtown, Main Street and Montana Avenue."
