Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
No matter which five vintage destinations made it to this category, we anticipate grousing. That's because with so many stellar places to shop for retro gear, it's almost impossible to narrow the field to one, or even a handful, of "bests." With that caveat in mind, allow us to present the five contenders for this year's golden turban for The Best Place in LA to Shop for Vintage.
The Rose Bowl Flea made the cut for its depth, breadth and sheer scale while Decades, Sielian's, and What Goes Around Comes Around were included for the exact opposite reason—shoppers appreciate their edited take. And then there's Shareen Vintage Downtown, a favorite for its unique atmosphere and fun point of view.
All are fantastic resources, but this is a competition and there can be only one Racked Award winner. Who will it be? Let us know with your vote. NOTE: This poll is now closed.
