Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.
Jared Eng is the man behind JustJared, covering the ins and outs of the global celebrity landscape. His blog features everything you've ever wanted to know about Kim Kardashian, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ryan Gosling and most of Hollywood's other bold-faced names. Here, the online master points us to his favorite shop in the Beverly Center for hard-to-come-by designers.
"My hidden gem in LA is Traffic at the Beverly Center. Nestled in a corner near the escalators, it's easy to unknowingly walk right past the store—but this would be a huge mistake! Traffic always has a wide selection of chic pieces from various designers, many of which you probably haven't heard of before. The staff is stylish and knowledgeable about all of the latest fashion trends, and they're always more than happy to help find what you're looking for. Whether you're looking for unique jewelry, great jeans or a well-tailored blazer, Traffic is a one-stop shop for that perfect piece to complete your wardrobe."
