This Friday marks the return of l.a.Eyeworks Big Sale—an event so epic that a line of Eyeworks fans was round the block until nightfall on last year's opening day. The sale encompasses mostly l.a.Eyeworks collection, including very recent styles and backstock that dates all the way to 1983. The archival frames on offer will include the Cornu, a cateye style that was produced as both a sunglass and a clear frame and was made iconic by Susan Sarandon in Thema & Louise (sale price: $35).
Eyeworks frames typically run from about $300 to $500 and will be marked 20 to 80% off for the weekend. Really recent frames won't be hugely discounted, but bargain hunters will be able to snag a few models priced as low as $25. There will be thousands of options available. Get ready to queue up!
