SILVER LAKE—This Saturday from noon to 4pm, Mohawk General Store will be the scene of a live demonstration by Berkeley's Juniper Ridge FIELD LAB. The Juniper Ridge team will be distilling wild sage into essential oils or, as a Mohawk PR contact explains, "Juniper Ridge's Obi Kaufman is using a converted whiskey stove to extract the essence of white sage found near Mt. San Jacinto near Palm Springs." Guests can assist in the process, which includes capturing the oil from steam. Sounds cool. [Racked Inbox]

CULVER CITY—Professional style advice-giver Stacy London will be appearing at the Westfield Culver City tomorrow for a meet-and-greet. London will be there from 1 to 3pm and 4 to 6pm; the first 250 people that spend more than $100 on women's clothes and accessories will get the chance to talk with the TV host and get their photo taken with her.
