Although Australia is over 7,000 miles away from California, the two destinations share many similarities. For one, they both have killer weather, which is why their residents often exude a chill, permanent vacation-like vibe. They're also major advocates of the high-low fashion look, mixing designer buys with vintage finds every chance they get.

To salute their Northern Hemisphere counterpart's common sunshine-meets-style philosophy, Vogue Australia visited Palm Springs, California to shoot their February 2012 cover and featured editorial. Captured by photographer Nicole Bentley, the sun-kissed images star Marloes Horst and Kendra Spears sporting looks from the Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane, and Armani spring collections. Behold the eye candy!
