According to a newsblast that went out this AM, girly, pink-haired jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino has a big overhaul planned for her Sparkle Factory at 908 S Broadway. In a major coup for Councilmember José Huizar, Tarantino will be taking over all seven stories of the (for now, really not sparkly) L.L. Burns’ Western Costume Building. She's putting the space to use for "an innovative retail concept including a Tarina Tarantino jewelry boutique, design headquarters and production studio."
There will be a press conference at 9am tomorrow morning with Huizar, Tarantino, and LA fashion district exec Kent Smith to announce the news and further details about the project.
