For the uninitiated, Scoop NYC is an Intermix-like boutique chainlet filled with a mix of slightly beachy, slightly boho designer merchandise complemented with a Scoop house line of casual basics. In other words, it's perfect for SoCal living. The store, founded more than 15 years ago in Manhattan, now has 15 locations in New York, East Hampton, Miami, Greenwich, Boston, Dallas, Chicago and Las Vegas. This year they're adding a 16th, their first-ever store in California, right down the road from the Brentwood Country Mart.
According to a press release, "Scoop’s 26th Street store will mimic the light and airy feeling of California style, yet it will still maintain Scoop’s signature sleek and modern aesthetic." There will be clothes and accessories for men and women from labels like Chloé, Kimberly Ovitz, Rag & Bone, Rebecca Taylor, Michael Bastian, Paul Smith, John Varvatos, and Yigal Azrouël. The boutique is slated to open this March.
