Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
SoCal brand NSF is known for crafting minimalist looks for men and sharp separates for women that feature a cool, tomboy vibe. Last year they introduced a denim line for the gents that promptly flew off the shelves, so it's no surprise that their pre-spring line delivers more of the same jeanswear magic for the ladies.
Given that their new designer and creative director Jamie Haller is a major vintage denim lover jeans feature a rugged and raw wash with a retro feel. She also produced a few worn-in leather jackets that we can already see the boys trying to steal from our closets. And although NSF snuck in some dresses in their otherwise androgynous collection this time around, styles are tough enough to wear without ever feeling overdone. We like.
Pick up NSF's pre-spring collection at Ron Herman, Heist, Madison and Intermix.
