Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone of British series Absolutely Fabulous have become campy fashion icons thanks to their outlandish costumes, boorish behavior and years of drug and alcohol abuse. This month, co-owners Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos of vintage mecca Decades decided to pay the debaucherous duo homage. In the windows of his Melrose Ave boutique they stand among designer luggage as if embarking on a trip, Pasty with her trusty martini glass and smokes in hand and Edina dressed absurdly as usual. The windows were installed January 7th and will probably be up to view for another week or so, according to Decades' publicist.
Ab Fab is back in the spotlight thanks to the release of three anniversary specials, the first of which aired earlier this month. Creator and co-star Jennifer Saunders is also working on an Ab Fab movie to be set in the French Riviera.
