HOLLYWOOD—Our friends over at Curbed report that Target is going forward with plans for a new outpost on Sunset between St. Andrews Pl. and Western in Hollywood. The proposed store would rise three stories, with "a roof terrace on the second level, escalators at Sunset/Western, and 458 parking spaces." [Curbed]

LOS FELIZGeneric Surplus and artist Steven Harrington are throwing a party tomorrow night to celebrate the fruits of their collaboration: a zine, Genericmanifesto, and a desert boot embossed with Harrington's "desert-inspired" graphics. The event, which is being held at El Chavo at 4441 Sunset and kicks off at 8pm, is open to the public. Stop by for $3 beers and tacos. [Racked Inbox]
