In a few of the non-mall locations, FNO took a while to get percolating,?on Melrose Place for example, things started out quiet with a few partiers trickling in here and there, and then at about 8pm, things started to get hectic. Not surprisingly, the anchors of the scene were the Diane von Furstenberg and Marc by Marc Jacobs stores. DVF had DJs and a fun "make your own flipbook" activity, while MJ had a wheel of fortune and some nice little prizes. All in all, it was a low-impact, chill way to celebrate the evening.
