Over the long weekend, signs of life started cropping up at the old Circuit City on Sunset that's occasionally housed outdoor movie screenings, bum fights, and whatever else happens at old abandoned lots. Specifically, Whole Foods signs were spotted. Oh happy day for us Los Felizians, Silver Lakers, and the rest of us East Siders and faux East Siders. But LAist investigated, and found out the whole thing was an elaborate hoax. Dumb. Talk about unambitious pranking. [LAist]
