HOLLYWOOD—It's time to cease and desist with the notion that a charity event needs to be some stuffy, $1000 a plate affair, or a walk-a-thon. Thank goodness the gals behind the inaugural LA Breast Cancer Fundraiser feel the same way. That's why their party will be a saucy burlesque/hair/fashion themed event -- think pink wigs, fancifully costumed lasses shaking what their mammas gave them, drinks, dancing and more. Tarina Tarantino will provide some of the jewelry, Hairroin is doing the hair, and you are being a lifesaver (literally) by purchasing a ticket and going to the event. CHINATOWN—Chemline is throwing a party to show off some of the pretty new fall merchandise from ISM Mode, Lavuk and of course, their own label, too. Chemline throws awesome parties, and they always have the best music, too: DJs Remitch and KCRW's Anthony Valadez; with a performance by Pollyn.
