Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

ENCINO—On Saturday, Butterfly Loft Salon is hosting a popup for Kristinit and Anita Arze -- two lines that show that eco-friendly doesn't have to mean crunchy-granola or patchoili scented. Shop deep discounts on the two lines, savor champagne and snacks, or get salon services. A portion of the day's sales will go to ASPCA. It's 10am to 4pm. 17401 Ventura Blvd. [Racked Inbox]

BEVERLY BLVD.—The pictures above are just a few of the ladies' interest/fashiony-themed pieces of art from Shana Ely Frase -- she's also made paintings with Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, and the fashions of Alexander McQueen as their subjects. ADBD is presenting her work in a show called Paper Dolls, and there's a reception on Saturday night. 7pm to 10pm. 8246 Beverly Blvd. [Racked Inbox]

KOREATOWN—The POPTart Gallery is presenting a very special fundraiser to benefit Illuminate Parkinsons. The event is hosted by Neil Gaiman, produced by LA Weekly's Most Interesting Person in LA, Lenora Claire and features photographs of subjects including Terry Gilliam, Neil Gaiman, Kevin Smith and many more. Open beer bar by Black Star Saturday, from 8pm to 11pm. [Racked Inbox]

THE WEST SIDE—Dockers is pantsing bros in sportsbars this Saturday. No, it's true! We are not sure if the Docker promo crew will be soliciting guys in really ugly pants, or if it's voluntary, but they're making available the new Docker's Alpha pants for dudes to try on -- and if said dude likes the pants, all he needs to do is answer some questions about college football to take the pants home. The event is 11:30am to 4pm; participating bars include Westwood Brewing Co. (1097 Glendon), Joxer Daily's (1188 Washington Blvd.); and Sepi's (10968 Le Conte Ave.) [Racked Inbox]
