Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Louise Roe is the new face of Hogan, has fronted campaigns for both Adidas and Bloomingdale's, and pens a regular column for MSN News, but above all, she has killer style. While we might not know where she gets her daily finds, we do know she ventures to Silverlake to get her fix of boho-chic accessories.

Gypsy Imports is a super tiny, chic boutique, erring on the dark and gothic side of life. Slap-bang in the middle of boho-ville Silverlake, it sells jewelry and watches, gifts and cute clutch bags. Lots of skulls, skeletons, and religious paraphernalia. It makes a refreshing change from the modern, minimal pieces that you find all over the rest of Los Angeles.
