This is the Line to Get in to the Isabel Marant Sample Sale

If you were thinking of heading down to the Isabel Marant sample sale, you might want to adjust those plans. We heard from one tipster, who showed up a few minutes before 10, the line was 50 or 60 people long. And it keeps growing. We'll keep you posted on the details and deals.
**UPDATED 8/25 at noon**One of our favorite tipsters sent us the following report on the prices and pieces at the sale:

Prices on average were like 50% - 60% off retail. Shorts were $200 orig $400-$50, jackets are about $400-$500, dresses $150-$400. The Hawaii Aloha sbaseball weatshirt was really cute but not worth $325. Matching silk baseball jacket was like $450. There was one rack at the far left that had some knits for like $60 for red denim capris and a $75 for the matching mini skirt, a dress marked down to $115 (from $440) and tops for $95. There was one $60 rack of jeans. They had shoes about 40%-50% off retail. Boots w/ the braided detail on the ankle for $575; pumps for $410 and sandals for $289. There was a jewelry case with some cute pieces, earrings started at $115 and they had braided bracelets and necklaces from $200-$300. I had no idea LA had so many IM fans! Normally when I got to these types of sample sales, there are only a few people. The line snaked around the floor!

The sale is at the Cooper Building, 860 S. Los Angeles Street, Suite 1100, till 4pm today, then 10am to 3pm tomorrow.
