DOWNTOWN—You'll need to pace yourselves for this one: The Gourmet Music Carnival is a new event that will offer 10 bands, 50 food trucks, and 250 vendors -- including many pretty vintage purveyors, some accessories, and who knows what else. BEVERLY CENTER—Who better to present the new Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's collection than the Fug Girls? They'll preside over a pre-launch party happening August 30 at the BevCenter Macy's. As if enjoying their sparkling wit isn't enough, show up and enjoy cocktails, live modeling, the chance to win some of the new clothing, and surprises.
