HOLLYWOOD—Junk Food Clothing is throwing a pretty ambitious art event and party: tonight at HVW8 Art + Design Gallery, they're presenting the work of Anthony Lister (you may have seen the superhero-themed promo posters splashed all over LA during the past three weeks). Besides Listers's art, the event will showcase a Lister-painted ice cream truck that's going to serve as a mobile popup for Junk Food Clothing. GLENDALE—It's really happening: the Apple store across the street from the Apple store is opening tomorrow. The Americana at Brand is going to be the proud new owner of what's being called the "first true 'Apple Store 2.0". Highlights include a 50-seat Genius Bar, and a gleaming, shiny 7,000 square foot showroom. Opens Saturday at 10am. [Curbed LA]
