While the Rebecca Minkoff/Confederacy popup has been a reality for the past six weeks, they just decided to consecrate the union with a kick-ass party. The very preggo Ms. M has some friends and fans in very high places: attendees included Agyness Deyn, Lauren Conrad, and Ashton Kutcher (and man, we hate to say it, but he surely could have benefited from a trip to Confederacy's men's section.)
The whole line looks like a really good fit for Confederacy. You'll find a plentiful, almost comprehensive assortment of everything Minkoff: bags, shoes, and ready-to-wear. The popup is a mutually beneficial arrangement for everyone: Even though Confederacy is specializing more in men's, the store still has legions of female fans and the Minkoff addition will certainly keep them well-shod. And we hear from Rebecca's people that this a low impact way to evaluate whether or not the world is ready for Rebecca Minkoff freestanding store(s).Confederacy is open daily from 11am to 8pm.
