We wish we had the money to jetset around the world, collecting unique, handmade items from a variety of locations. But until we win the lottery or marry a member of a royal family, we'll be shopping online, especially Nicole Miller's newest collection in partnership with Indego Africa, a nonprofit organization that teaches skills to 250 female artisans in Rwanda, giving them the ability to provide for their families. Last fall, Miller created a line of textile bangles and woven bracelets (which are still available), and now she has added patterned shorts and sarongs that are perfect for LA's coastal sunshine. The five fabrics were hand-picked in Rwandan markets specifically for the project. Prices range from $25 to $65, making them extremely affordable, and available on Nicole Miller's website. Just think of it as bringing the world to you.
