• Wow, someone could sure use a makeover (actually, we could not figure out if this was a real person or a statue. But there were at least 3 marilyns running around, including one who appeared to be in her late 50s. Work it, girl!)

We totally don't recommend you ambushing Momma with, "You look like crap, so I'm taking you to get a makeover"?it's up to you to figure out how to delicately break the news that your shanghai-ing her ass and taking her to the Pixi for Target makeover popup that's rocking out at Hollywood and Highland today and tomorrow.

We got there a few minutes after the mobile makeover booth opened for business (relax, it's free) this morning, and it was already bustling. There were tourists, a few locals, little girls and teenyboppers who already had flawlessly beautiful skin and that caramel coloring us grown ladies pay big bucks to emulate?all were shocked that it was free, but were happy to climb aboard. Petra Strand herself was there today to oversee it all and do a few special touchups, and the little bus is fully staffed with cheerful aesthetic pros, so you (or your mom) will be in good hands.

And did we mention they're doling out samples and white roses? It's a perfect little Mother's Day pick-me-up for you and your Momma. They're open today until 5pm, and tomorrow, they're there from 11am to 5pm
