Balmain Gets (Relatively) Affordable

No more shaking your fists of fashion rage at $1,600 t-shirts and $4,000 leather pants. Balmain is set to launch a diffusion line, named Pierre Balmain, possibly as early as Spring 2012—which means we could get a preview as early as September at New York Fashion Week. Actual price points are still hush-hush, and we're guessing they're not going to be impulse-buy affordable, but it'll still be better than finding a Balmain tee on sale for 80% off and still debating whether to drop a few hundred on it.
