Gilt Launches a Foodie Site

In their ongoing quest for world domination, Gilt just launched a new enterprise, Gilt Taste, aiming to be a multidimensional, multi-sensory experience. Yes, there's stuff to buy (really expensive food, like $75 cake, $90 steaks, and these whatever-they-ares that price out to $233 a pound. In addition to $$$ food and kitchen tools, the site is also a little lifestyle magalog with recipes, pretty pictures of food, stories, and more. Let's hope it's not exactly like Gilt Groupe?which we all know features clothing that's sometimes a couple of seasons old. Nom nom nom! [Eater, Gilt Taste]
