Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We're kinda loving the juxtaposition of stories in this month's Complex: first up is a very nice fashion spread of the Brothers Macklovitch, more usually known as Dave 1 of Chromeo, and A-Trak. So much talent and influence in one family, they're almost like Rahm and Ari Emanuel! (But as far as we known, both of them still have all of their fingers. And there's a third Emanuel brother who's a brilliant doctor, we don't know about any other Macklovitches.) All this cuteness is followed up by 50 of the worst fashion statements in rock 'n' roll -- there's moments like David Lee Roth's assless chaps, Paul McCartney's mullet, Axl Rose's cornrows, and Avril Lavigne looking like a total tool throughout her entire career wearing a suit that reveals a clever message. Rock on, indeed, Avril!
