Here's an example of some really nice upcycling that's being used to help the eco movement even more: John Hardy Jewelry just launched a collab, masterminded/designed by John Hardy's Creative Director and Head
Designer, Guy Bedarida with model Angela Lindvall. The collection is called Hijau Dua ("green" in Balinese). Sales support John Hardy's "Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo" initiative. All of the little treasures and trinkets are enjoying a second life, having started out as something much less glamorous. And they're all shipped and packaged in eco-friendly, recycled, sustainable, precious little envelopes.
