HOLLYWOOD—In conjunction with the 3-week long Japan aid installation and event calendar, Space 15 Twenty is hosting cooking classes for charity: it's a 30-minute event where you might learn how to make an aromatic tofu appetizer, creamy tofu salad, and other tofu dishes. Space is limited; it's Saturday, starting at 11am. 1520 N. Ivar [Racked Inbox]
DTLA—Debuting on Tuesday is the short film Closet Visit, based on the website of the same name. It's a thriller! Ok, not really, but it is looking inside fashionable closets, which is pretty thrilling. The short will loop every 30 minutes, starting at 7:30 pm. In addition to cinema, a DJ will be on hand, and since it's at The Standard, you can count on merriment ensuing. 550 South Flower St. [Racked Inbox]
