YOUR COMPUTER, ECHO PARK, JAPAN—Local artsy/indie design superstars IKO IKO created a special product that will be sold to benefit the Red Cross fund for the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami. It's the big dot paper banner, shown above, designed in collaboration with Stuart Smith and printed by Sebastian Boher. $25 each, with 100% of sales going to the Red Cross. Buy it online or in the sweet little shop at 1298 Sunset Blvd. [Racked Inbox]
SILVERLAKE—Jenette Bras is having an informal modeling event to benefit a good cause. On Sunday, the store will serve up champagne and new looks, and sales from the event will have a charitable twist: 20% of those dollars will be used in conjunction with Glamour Gowns, an event that provides prom dresses and accessories to underprivileged high school girls in LA. Specifically, your purchases end up providing strapless bras, since those aren't usually provided. Awwww! Event is 5pm to 7pm. 4308 Melrose Ave. [Racked Inbox]
