In what is perhaps the second-greatest cartoon rendering of fashion in popular media in the past three years (the first being a Harper's Bazaar article with a cartoon Linda Evangelista shepherding the Simpsons through the world of couture, including introducing Lisa Simpson to Alber Elbaz and presiding over a Karl Lagerfeld/Homer Simpson pose-off), a look from Prada's spring 2011 collection has been immortalized in a comic. Specifically, in an ad for Airfrance that's in the current issue of the New Yorker. Yup, right down to the sunglasses. The Airfrance ad is small joy to behold, never mind the fact that Prada isn't exactly a French label.
