Though they've already been open a couple of months, Station is just getting started. The super-spacious store that faces outward onto Brand Blvd. is finding its bearings: while they're doing well for themselves, as a retail store, there are plans in the works for more art shows, photo shoots, fashion shows?Station could be like an ultra-hip clubhouse.
But first and foremost, it's a retail store that carries lots of up-and-coming (or already here) LA designers and labels: like Dimepiece, Apolis Activism, Howl, Laeken, Love Nail Tree, Han Cholo and Belstaff. They also carry a couple of house lines, including Groceries, with cottons, slinky knits and tees starting from $30. Also a smattering of remixed vintage and a few pairs of Oliver Peoples. It makes for a nice, eclectic mix -- just when you think you've seen it all, your eye falls on something new and you realize there's a lot more than you expected. And the prices are pretty wallet-friendly, with tees and top starting around $30, and a good chunk of the blouses in the $40 - $60 range. And here's an even more wallet-friendly incentive to check them out: they're offering a 20% discount if you mention you saw this post. They're at 167 Caruso (nee Brand) in Glendale.
