WEST THIRD—This Thursday marks the annual West Third holiday party. The stretch between La Cienega and Fairfax will be a virtual carnival with stilt walkers and fire eaters; there will also be live music, photobooths and food. Almost every boutique in the area will be participating in the fun, offering either free food and drink (we plan to hit up the taco party at menswear shop Douglas Fir) or deep discounts. MELROSE AVENUE—'Tis the season for neighborhood block parties. The shops along Melrose in West Hollywood are celebrating tomorrow night from 6 to 10pm with sales, gifts, snacks, drinks and more. If you get really hungry, a number of food trucks including Nom Nom and Holy Aioli will also be on the scene to provide refreshments. [Racked Inbox]
