After much rumormongering, Chanel has confirmed that Alice Dellal—she of the half-shaved head, pierced nose and the band Thrush Metal—will be the new face of its Boy Chanel handbag line. The release states, in part: "Alice Dellal represents the perfect incarnation of all that is unique about the Boy Chanel handbag collection, which strives [to be] far from conformist notions of femininity.” [WWD]
