Introducing Leslie Price, Racked LA's New Editor

New, 4 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today, we're welcoming Leslie Price back to the Racked family and introducing her as the new editor of Racked LA. Leslie's no stranger to the ins and outs of the local shopping scene; as the founding editor of Racked NY, she defined much of Racked's editorial approach. After moving on from Racked, she worked as the web editor of Lucky magazine, then at Time Inc. where she helped with the launch of InStyle's shopping site StyleFind. Finally, after eight years of living in NYC, she decided to decamp to the sunnier environs of Los Angeles, and she now resides in a West Hollywood bungalow with her boyfriend and dog.

Outgoing Racked LA editor Lisa Boosin is moving on to pursue freelance projects. Our huge thanks to her for steering this ship so ably over the past several years.

As always, keeping up-to-date on LA's crazed shopping scene is not a one-person task. We'll be adding new contributors to the mix over the coming months—and, as ever, relying on your eyes on the street to keep us posted. The tipline, la@racked.com, is open and awaiting your word.
