Hmm, how do you say schadenfreude in French? This weekend at Paris Fashion Week, Kanye West sent his womenswear down the runway, and it was almost universally panned. For pretty good reason -- or make that reasons, like random and gratuitous fur, weird zippers, metallic snakeskin pants, and a "very large and furry backpack." The critical pans were pretty varied and emphatic, as well: "Kanye West's fashion debut was like being subjected to an hour long MRI scan—but not as much fun"; "it was obvious that most of the clothes suffered from a poor fit"; "The only thing more painful than witnessing the dress?"; it goes on and on. Except for one weirdo over at AP who thought it rivaled anything else in Paris. Um, yeahhhh. Take a look and decide for yourself. [Racked]
