Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The polls for the first Racked Awards have closed, the votes have been counted?and now, here's the list of who'll be drinking champagne out of a Golden Turban in the very near future. This list spans our massive, sprawling city (even OC!), and identifies the stores that keep it both fashionable and interesting. The list of winners is as diverse (and unexpected) as the city itself. There were a couple of upsets and a little intrigue, but the winners prevailed. But in our eyes (and in yours), everyone's a winner. Some are just more winner-er, that's all.
