Yep, you heard right: a gold sculpture of Kate Moss in a highly contorted yoga pose sold last week at a Sotheby's auction for £577,250, or $908,245 in US dollars. The artist, Marc Quinn, is a member of the YBAs (Young British Artists), the group better known for birthing art superstar Damien Hirst; and the sculpture weighs in at a hefty 10 kilograms of 18-caret gold.
