What do you do if you have an attic stuffed with more than 400 vintage and designer handbags, clutches, backpacks, totes, and duffles? (Sorry, no man bags.) You have a purse party where you set them all out, get guests nice and liquored up, and watch women scoop up deals on gently used bags from the likes of YSL, Marni, Marc Jacobs, Pucci, Chloe, Balenciaga and more. Which is what is happening at Ampersand Boutique on Thursday night.

We took a sneak preview this weekend. The upstairs portion of the boutique is a sight to behold, with boxes stuffed full of leather, silk, exotic skins, sequins, and feathers. Along with all of the high end treasures, there's no shortage of true vintage and other stylish bags, starting at $15. There's something for just about every pricepoint. Scroll through the gallery and figure out which bag you're going to stalk. The party is this Thursday, starting at 5pm. Ampersand Boutique is on the corner of Melrose and Larchmont.
