ROBERTSON BLVD—This week, Monika Chiang opens in West Hollywood. Don't feel too bad if you're not overly familiar with her -- she's launching her debut collection and store at the same time. It must be nice to be the girlfriend of Mr. Tory Burch -- a.k.a. Christopher Burch, ex of Tory, who happens to be financially involved in Chiang's line, and romantically involved with Chiang herself. The collection is already getting good reviews; we'll see the shop early this week and post pictures for you to see, too. 108 South Robertson. [Racked Inbox]
ALL OVER LA—It's time again for Los Angeles Fashion Week. A lot of the usual suspects are participating: ISM Mode, Mike Vensel, Sue Wong. There's one event we're really intrigued by: an installation for a collab between Henry Duarte and Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dandy Warhols. Check back for ongoing coverage through the week.
