Bolt Barbers Bringing Some Boyish Fun to Melrose

With a few exceptions, the stretch of Melrose between Crescent Heights and Sweetzer is a pretty estrogen-heavy affair. Sure, there's Fred Segal and that one stinky cigar shop, but then there's also Madison, Foley and Corinna, Decades and Decadestwo?Bolt Barbers is soon adding some manliness to the mix -- they're opening a second grooming outpost for "social beasts." (This is in addition to their DTLA headquarters.) The shop is scheduled to open next week, on January 10th. It's kind of a fun coincidence that they're opening so close on the heels of the other groomers for social beasts, that high-end dog-tique Pariero.
