We've all seen the Marchesas, the Armani Prives, the Chanels and even the McQueens floating along the red carpet during this awards season. However, this year, is it just us, or are some of the heavy hitters pushing the envelope while hoping their name is inside of one? At the SAG awards last night and the Golden Globes a couple weeks ago: we spotted a couple lovely ladies in great dresses from slightly less red-carpet-established designers and are excited about this trend away from adult prom dresses! Let's see some Erdem or Prabal Gurung at the Oscars please, ladies! [People]
