We have two fantasies pertaining to this year's Oscars: One, that Daft Punk will be nominated for the TRON soundtrack, win, then go up and accept the award in robot gear and speak through vocoders. And the second, seemingly more realistic one, is watching Kate and Laura Mulleavy win for their awesome Black Swan designs, and hear a quirky, charming acceptance speech. Well, strike that from the list: the pair will not be getting proper credit, which in instead going to Amy Westcott. Looks like they made a rookie mistake in negotiating terms for the movie. A total downer, but the bright side is that this certainly won't be the only time the Rodarte gals do brilliant work for a high-profile film. [Fashionista]
