Superdry opened last week, hopping into a jean pool that includes True Religion, Armani Exchange, and Diesel. The store stocks a bright and cheery selection of non-denims, too: hyper-preppy polos, rugby shirts, flannels and dresses account for more of the actual floor space than the jeans do. It's always fun to see Americana filtered through a different nationality -- in this case, Japan via the UK.
